This policy explains how Layer Six Technology Ltd (“Layer Six”, “we”, “us”) collects and uses your personal data when you visit www.layersix.co.uk or get in touch with us. We are the data controller for the information you provide.

2. The information we collect
- Information you give us: when you complete our “Request a callback” form, we collect your first and last name, email address, phone number and company size.
- Information collected automatically: like most websites, our hosting provider records limited technical data (such as IP address and browser type) in server logs to keep the site secure and running. We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies.
3. How we use your information
We use the details you submit to respond to your enquiry, arrange a call, and discuss how we might help your business. Our lawful bases under UK GDPR are your consent (given when you submit the form) and our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and running our business. If we go on to work together, we will process your data to provide our services under our contract with you.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with the trusted third-party providers that help us run our website, email and enquiry handling, and only so far as they need it to deliver those services to us.
Some of these providers may be based outside the UK. Where your data is transferred internationally, it is protected by appropriate safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or equivalent.
5. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any resulting relationship, and remove it when it is no longer required.
6. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our use of your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email sales@layersix.co.uk.
7. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
